Adding
SmartSound Audio
There
are different ways to add audio to VideoWave
Productions. One option in EMC and Creator
2009 is to use Smart Sound,
which automatically edits the audio to fit
a production or part of a production.
Make
sure the blue playback head
is placed where you want your audio selection
to begin playing.
Click
on Add Background Audio
and the Select Background Audio dialog box
appears.
| If
you want to chose your own audio filed
on your hard drive, navigate to it from
the Media Selector Tab,
and select it to add to a production.
You can also add
your own narration to your production. |
To access Smart Sound,
click on the Smart Sound
tab. Here you can chose different types,
styles, and variations of music. Select
Music in the Type
drop-down menu and Owned
in the Where To Search
drop-down menu. Choose the Style
of Music, such as Classical,
a Title, and a Variation.
To
have SmartSound automatically fit the music
to your production, check the Auto
Fit box.
Preview
your selection by clicking on the green
preview arrow. There are a several
tracks included with Smart Sound and you
have access to preview and buy additional
titles within the Smart Sound dialog box.
Click OK and and choose
Add to Music Track and
click OK. VideoWave adds
the music to fit the production duration
and, at the bottom of the Production Editor
window in Storyline View, VideoWave adds
clickable Audio Icon to
edit the audio, if needed.
If
you want SmartSound to generate audio
only for a portion of the production,
add up the total time needed and enter
that time in SmartSound's Duration
box. So for example, if you want music
to play only for the duration of a
six-second Title Panel, move the blue
playback head to the start of the
Title Panel and then click on Add
Background Audio, make your selection,
and type in 6 seconds, just enough
to play for the duration of the Title.
Click
OK and Add
to Music Track and OK
again. |
