Adding a Title Panel to a VideoWave Production

Once the video has loaded, press the Play button to begin.

Adding a Title Panel

To add a Title Panel to a VideoWave production, right-click a panel where you want to insert a text panel and click Insert Color Panel.

In the More Colors dialog box, click on a preset color (or create a new color).

Click OK.

Click on Add Text Effect in the Add Content panel.

In the Add Text Effect window, choose from the list of different styles of text. (To narrow down your choices, click on the drop-down arrow next to All to access the styles broken down into categories.)

Click on one of the Text Effects and click OK.

Choose Insert On Internal Track of Selected Panel to keep this text contained within the duration of the color panel.

This opens the text in the internal track of the color panel. Select the text and edit.

When you click on the text effect in the Preview window, it should highlight the entire block of text. If not, then you can right-click the text and choose Select All. You can select individual words by placing your cursor within the text and dragging to highlight only certain words. To deselect the text, click anywhere in the panel.

Use the Text toolbar near the top of the Preview Window for quick access to text style changes, including Font, Size, Color, Transparency Level, and so on.

You can also click the Text Editor Button to access more options like 3-D and Framing Options.

These options and a few more are also located in the Text Effect Settings Panel.

When finished editing the text, click Done and VideoWave reopens in Storyline or Timeline view (depending on where you were working when you entered the Internal Track).

In Storyline View, the bottom of the color panel displays a clickable text icon, which you can click if you want to open the Internal Track and edit the text. To open the Internal Track in Timeline View, right click on the Color Panel and select Edit > Edit Internal Tracks.
