Fade to Black in VideoWave

Once the video has loaded, press the Play button to begin.

Fade to Black

Creating a fade to black effect in VideoWave involves adding an actual black panel to fade to, along with a dissolve to create the fade.

Add a black panel by right-clicking on the panel where you want to insert the fade and choosing Insert Color Panel.

Choose the black preset color and click OK.

Once the black panel is in place, click on the Effects Selector tab in the docking area to open it.

Click on the Transitions button.

Click on Reveal in the category drop-down list and drag a Dissolve transition into the empty transition panel created when you added the black color panel.

To fade in from black, do basically the same thing:

Right click where you want to insert the black panel, choose Insert Color Panel, pick the black preset and click OK, and then insert a dissolve transition after it.
